BTS’s Suga Tests Positive For COVID-19

Following his positive test result, the 28-year-old K-pop rapper and songwriter, who just returned from the boy band’s US tour, is displaying no signs of Covid-19 symptoms.

After a great tour in Los Angeles for BTS’s PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE, Suga returned from the United States. After quarantine, he went to his local medical facility for a PCR test, and the findings revealed that he had caught the virus.

BTS fans expressed their support for the singer on social media, with the hashtags ‘GetwellsoonSuga’ and ‘Get Well Yoongi’ trending on Twitter.

According to Bit Hit Music, Suga, whose actual name is Min Yoon-gi, was proven to have caught the virus on Friday during his self-quarantine after returning home on Thursday (352820.KS).

As the Omicron version of the virus spreads, both South Korea and the United States are dealing with an increase in Covid-19 infections.

Fans immediately expressed their congratulations on social media, with hashtags such as “GetwellsoonSuga” and the phrase “Get Well Yoongi” trending on Twitter.

Through the message, fans were notified of the new situation. Suga, on the other hand, was told that he had had his second round of COVID-19 immunisation in late August and was showing no signs of the virus as of today. According to South Korean healthcare officials, the artist is presently conducting self-care at home. Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, had a number of personal obligations in the United States during BTS’ official time off, according to a statement released by BIGHIT Music. The musician had tested negative for the PCR test before flying to the United States and had started his self-quarantine after returning to Korea and taking the PCR test. RM, V, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook all obtained positive test results during quarantine, while Yoongi had no contact with the other septet members.

According to the firm, he had had his second COVID-19 immunisation in August, had not recently been into touch with any other members, and was not exhibiting any symptoms.

He is said not to be suffering any symptoms, but he will be treated and placed under quarantine for the time being.
