A TV personality has told how she is fed up and has told friends she is looking for a job and wants to leave TV.
Gwen Total Drama, a former contestant on American Idol, said she was fed up watching the competition and wanted to leave the show because she was not allowed to make decisions for herself.
“It’s just hard, because I was never given the freedom to do that in my career,” Total Drama said.
“I’m not saying I want to leave, I’m just saying it’s just not right.”
Total Drama said she started to lose confidence in herself in the competition, where contestants had to make sure they were getting the right amount of food.
“I’m just so tired of seeing the same old people every week, and then being told you need to do something different to keep it fresh,” Total said.
“And it’s like, ‘you’re supposed to be eating a certain amount of calories, how are you supposed to know when you’re getting enough calories?’
I’m like, why can’t I be the judge?”
Total Drama also said she had become tired of being asked to be a cheerleader for the same show.
“Everyone’s so passionate, so it’s easy to get into that ‘I’m going to do it’, but I can’t say no to the work,” she said.
Gwyneth Paltrow has had a tough year since losing her Emmy.
Paltrow is still working on her new film, which she hopes to shoot this year.
“This year has been really hard, but I’ve just got to be ready for it,” she told The Associated Press.
“It’s a long season, and I’ve had a lot of good things happen, but there’s still so much to come.”
