The season is now officially in the books, which means that it’s time to start discussing what to watch for on the TV side of things.

For me, the biggest surprise of the past year was the fall of Marvel’s Agent Carter.

It seemed like a big deal, and when the show ended its run, I had a feeling that Marvel would take a step back and give the Marvel Cinematic Universe a real break.

The same thing could be said of ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but it’s clear that Marvel is more focused on the long haul and moving into a new era.

It’s clear ABC’s Agent Melinda May is taking over as head of the show, and the same goes for The Voice, which is now in its sixth season and has its third female lead.

The next big TV story will be Game of Thrones, which has an even longer season than Agents of SHIELD, and there’s a lot of drama going on with the second season of The Americans, which just wrapped up last week.

While it may seem like the year is winding down for many TV fans, the fact is that 2016 is still in its prime.

I believe we are on the cusp of a great season of TV, and it is absolutely the year to watch, regardless of what your cable subscription is.
